The Call
We are embarking on a transformational 14-day fast from January 19-February 1, as we boldly align ourselves under God's protection!
Purpose
This year we are focusing on the mind (our intentions, thought patterns and speech) by leaning into daily affirmations, declarations and meditation:
Command your day's blessing each morning by tapping into this declaration: Speak This Over Your Mornings in 2026. Make it your own by adding declarations that are meaningful to your own walk. Hebrews 11:6
Affirm God's Will Over Your Life Each Day by using your weapon of warfare (the tongue) to subdue any other thought that opposes what God says about you. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
Preparing for The Fast
Physical
In the days before the fast, consume lighter foods to ready the body for the sudden change in routine.
Assess your limits.
Decide the level of sacrifice that best fits you.
Spiritual
Customize your fasting focus to suit your personal needs. For instance, determine what you are trusting God to accomplish in terms of the affirmations and declarations mentioned above.
